DJI has been well known for their drones and the internet has been a buzz because of an unboxing leak and test footage of the first-person view (FPV) drone has been going around. The leak has been uploaded by SpiderMonkey FPV on YouTube.
Additionally, the user also provided us a sneak peek of the FPV Drone in action with raw footage from the DJI V2 Goggle DVR.
As of this writing, there haven’t been any new uploads aside from this one but we’ll see in the next couple of days if the leaker reveals more once he reaches 5,000 subscribers.
OsitaLV, a well-known DJI drone pilot in China who also leaked this drone last year as reported by The Verge, recently shared on Twitter more updated images of the FPV Combo and it’s only a matter of time before DJI releases an official statement regarding these leaks.

It’s Sleek Design Makes It Stand Out
In the leaked unboxing video, we see that the new model of the DJI drone is dubbed as the “FPV Combo” and design-wise, it seems to be bulkier compared to the previous models. The drone has a black finish which is a rare sight to see since most of their drone lineups have a dominant gray finish.
However, we’ve noticed that the DJI test unit also has the goggles and remote control included that somewhat resembles a PS4 controller which is different from the DJI website.
They have been promoting these goggles for quite some time now and it seems that it’s going to be included along with the leaked FPV drone.
FPV Combo Leaked Specs
As far as specs are concerned, DroneDJ was able to get a gist on what we’re going to expect on the FPV drone. The camera is going to be equipped with a 150-degree field of view with an f/2.86 aperture and it can support 4K 60fps videos as well as 1080p 120fps slow-motion videos.
The FPV drone could also possibly house a smaller sensor which could be the same as the Mini 2. Prices haven’t been officially announced yet but for now, we’ll be on the lookout for more upcoming news this month.
