That’s why use of search commands like “Ok Google”, “Hey Siri”, “Hey Alexa” are increasing rapidly. In 2011, Google introduced voice search. But, at that time it was not popular as it is now. According to a recent survey of Thinkwithgoogle, in 2020 27% of total internet users used voice search.

1. Structure your content depending on user search intent:

If you are already a voice search user then you know that we only search specific queries those are answered with a word or sentence. Like a business’s opening hour, score update, important dates, etc.

Using search intents, you can optimize your content to make friendly to voice search. Best way to do this by adding an informative FAQ section, How-to section. Only adding these sections will not work properly; you have to add schema markup tags to sent proper information about the content to Google. For every section there is a schema code available like FAQ, How-to, Product Page, Reviews, Books, Recipe etc.

2. Use of long-tail keywords:

If you have done keywords research before then you probably noticed that in every tool there is a question related keyword section. And, maximum of the question related keywords are long-tail keywords. When people search, they use to search a complete question. When writing content on such focused keywords always try to find the related question related search terms. Add them in your FAQ section along with the content.

3. Update Business Listings:

For business related information make the contact us or about us pages with complete details of business. If you have listed the business on GMB or other reputed site then recheck the information like location, contact number, opening hours, etc. Not only for the specific searches, but it performs well for the “near me” searches also. If your business location is genuine and you marked the proper location in Google map.

4. Make your website responsive for mobile:

For ranking purpose Google always look for the mobile version of a website. A website that is mobile friendly has a better chance of ranking on SERP. Follow these below tips to make a mobile friendly website:
