PlayStation Plus Free Games For March You Don’t Wanna Miss

It’s only the first quarter of 2021 and we are being treated with a lot of upcoming games. Last month’s Sony State of Play already gave us a lot of titles to look forward to.

But Sony has exceeded our expectations once again by giving away four great titles including Final Fantasy VII Remake that has only been released last year as well as a VR game.

If you’re looking for the perfect time to subscribe to a PlayStation Plus membership, now is the time to do so. Even if you only get their monthly subscription at least you have secured copies of these free games and you can always renew when you’re ready to give yourself a console gaming marathon.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Although we won’t be getting the Yuffie episode on this free game of the month, at least we have the chance to experience the story of the FFVII universe with Cloud and the rest of the gang.

The only downside to this freebie is that you can’t upgrade your free copy of the remake if you own a PlayStation 5 so maybe it’s better to get the Final Fantasy VII Intergrade if you don’t have your own copy of the remake.

If you have a PS VR headset and a PS Camera, then this first-person VR shooter is for you. Embark on a hostile alien world while trying to keep yourself alive with an arsenal of weapons to choose from. The game also provides a co-op or versus game mode for you and your friends online.

Remnant From The Ashes

Often dubbed as “Dark Souls with Guns”, this is an underrated rogue-like game that’s worth getting if you’re up to the challenge.

You play as one of the last remnants of humanity in this third-person survival shooter game in an attempt to retake a world overrun by interdimensional invaders. Its procedurally generated environments has tons of replayability whether you’re going solo or with friends.

This PlayStation 5 exclusive is a first-person puzzler designed around an Escher-esque recursive simulation. Solving puzzles will require you twist the world recursively. Every object you move can mirror itself in the life-sized version that surrounds you.

As a bonus, you can also get Destruction AllStars free for this month on the PS5 before it leaves the service on April 5.
