Nebia Shower Head Review: The Ulitmate showerhead?

Three of the Nebia by Moen Quattro’s four spray modes have a water consumption of just 1.5 gpm, which is significantly less than the 2.5 gpm used by most shower systems. If you’re feeling extra thrifty, the Super Saver mode brings that usage down to a mere 1.2 gpm.

Overview

Nebia is a company dead-set on creating the best sustainable shower system the world’s ever seen. To achieve this goal, they partnered up with Moen – a name that’s been on the top of the shower game for the better part of the past century. The Nebia by Moen Quattro marks their second venture together, named after its four distinct spray modes.

Not only is this showerhead elegantly designed and remarkably easy to install, but it also comes in a handful of gorgeous colours and two different designs. The Rainshower design is a stationary shower that’s meant to stay in place, while the Handshower can be detached and moved around. Whichever you choose, the Nebia by Quattro promises to save you up to 50% on your water bill without compromising your water pressure in the least.

Features

Four Unique Spray Modes

The Nebia by Moen Quattro offers four different spray modes, each with specific uses. Angel Hair sends out 150 strands of water at a high pressure yet calming feel. Hard Spray is the more intense mode, used for giving yourself a light shower massage or rinsing thicker hair. Soft Spray, as its name suggests, is the most relaxing of the bunch, sending out millions of little droplets for a more soothing experience. Finally, there’s Super Saver, the most economical of the modes that still manages to feel powerful and satisfying.

Easy Installation

Unlike other showerheads that require the expertise of a professional, the Nebia by Moen Quattro can easily be installed by yourself and shouldn’t take any longer than three minutes.

Two Distinct Shower Designs

You have a choice between the Rainshower and Handshower designs, with the former sporting a fixed position while the latter can be detached and held by your hand. It’s up to you whether you prefer a more traditional shower setup or enjoy the mobility you get from a handheld design.

Low Water Consumption, Strong Pressure

Perhaps one of the Nebia by Moen Quattro’s most attractive features is its lower rate of water consumption, often utilizing 1.5 gpm (gallons per minute) or less compared to the 2.5 gpm usage of standard shower systems. And it does so without sacrificing the water pressure needed for a satisfying experience.

Five Stylish Finishes

Worried that the Quattro might not blend well with your bathroom aesthetic? Well, you’ll be glad to know that this showerhead comes in five classy colours – Chrome, Spot Resist Nickel, Matte Black, Brushed Gold, and Oil Rubbed Bronze. No matter your style, there’s a shade for you.

Innovative Accessories

Nebia offers two handy accessories to choose from – the Quick-Dry Earth Mat and the Nebia Adjustable Shower Arm (NASA). The mat is made out of naturally occurring silica-based components and goes from wet to dry in a matter of minutes, preventing nasty mold and germs from growing. The NASA, on the other hand, gives your showerhead a better range of motion, allowing you to move it around to suit your height and preference. It’s also worth noting that NASA works with both the Rainshower and Handshower designs.

Build & Design

Not only is the Quattro sturdy and built for years of use on account of its recyclable aluminium frame, but it’s also the first shower system to incorporate components upcycled from ocean plastic pollution, making it great for the environment. Looks-wise, this showerhead adopts a traditional circular design, but what makes it stand out is its various posh colour schemes.

From the classic silvery chrome to the bronzey gold as well as the timeless black, each colourway completely changes the Quattro’s image and gives you the opportunity to find the right fit for your bathroom. We found the matte black especially appealing.

How does it work?

We absolutely loved how easy it is to install the Nebia by Moen Quattro. You start off by removing your existing showerhead then make sure that there’s a gasket already inside the cradle threads. If there isn’t, then place one yourself. After that, you screw the cradle onto the shower arm and keep tightening until the Moen logo is on the top side and there’s enough resistance.

Similar to the previous step, the next thing you have to do is check if there’s a gasket inside the hose threads. If not, then make sure you install one. That’s the time you screw the hose onto the cradle. Finally, you screw the other side of the hose to the hand shower tightly. Then you’re all set. This installation method is for the Handshower design, with the Rainshower being even easier to install.

Conclusion

Nebia by Moen Quattro is an exceptional shower system that blends elegance with functionality and efficiency. It can potentially save you up to 50% of your water bill and it’s pretty easy on the eyes to boot. The four distinct spray modes offer different experiences depending on the type of shower you’re looking to have, all of which feature a satisfying degree of water pressure.

You might even want to consider the nifty accessories Nebia has to offer, like the quick-drying Earth Mat and useful adjustable shower arm. We’re not going to lie, the Quattro is kind of pricey as showerheads go, but it’ll quickly pay for itself with how much you’ll save on your water bill.
